Changes in Lemminkäinen's Building Construction business segment management
LEMMINKÄINEN CORPORATION STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 19 SEPTEMBER 2012 AT 17:00 P.M
Jukka Terhonen, Executive Vice President of Building Construction and a member
of the Executive Board of Lemminkäinen Group, will retire on 31 January 2013,
as agreed. Casimir Lindholm, M.Sc. (Econ.), MBA, has been appointed as his
successor effective 1 January 2013. He will also become a member of the Group's
Executive Board. Lindholm is currently employed by Eltel Networks as President
Fixed Telecom and CEO of Eltel Networks Sweden.
"At Lemminkäinen, we have wide-ranging expertise in building construction,
which now will be strengthened by Casimir's experience in management and
business development. With his experience from the Nordic markets, Casimir will
be a valuable addition to the Executive Board," says President and CEO Timo
Kohtamäki. "Jukka Terhonen has had a long and successful career with
Lemminkäinen and in the field of Finnish building construction – I understand
his decision to retire at this time. I would like to thank him for his years
with us and hope that he will continue to contribute to Lemminkäinen's
development in the role of an active shareholder."
Lindholm (b. 1971) has been in Eltel Networks' employ since 2008. Before that
he worked for companies such as Telenor and Andersen Business Consulting.
Terhonen (b. 1954) joined Lemminkäinen in 2001 and he has served as the head of
the business segment and a member of the Executive Board since 2009.
